About the 2025 Alumni Dinner

So here is some additional information and answers to questions that many people have regarding the Fresno High Alumni Dinner:

Of course, we are proudly presenting the Annual Alumni Dinner on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM—and possibly a little later, depending on how the evening unfolds.

The theme of the evening will celebrate the Kentucky Derby, which also takes place that day. We encourage you to dress according to the theme, if you so choose—hats and all! Last year’s event surprised us with an unexpected rainstorm, but we’re hoping for pleasant weather this time around. 

Mint juleps will be served as part of the evening’s refreshment menu, along with beer, wine, water, and soft drinks—all at reasonable prices.

Dinner will be catered by The Meat Market’s BBQ department, featuring their famous tri-tip and chicken, rice pilaf, salad, rolls, and all the fixings. The Meat Market has a stellar reputation for barbecue-style meals, and we’re confident you won’t be disappointed.

As with last year, the Warrior Marching Band Boosters have taken the lead in organizing this event. They stepped up when volunteer help was scarce, and as a result, proceeds from the dinner benefit the Warrior Booster Club, directly supporting the marching band. In years past, the event only broke even—so your participation makes a real difference.

In addition to helping serve and welcome guests, members of the Warrior Marching Band will perform some of their favorite selections, including a performance by their talented Color Guard.

Please note: There will be no physical tickets this year. Instead, reservations and payments will be tracked on a guest list at the door. Just give us your name when you arrive, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Finally, while we’ve received plenty of great suggestions from enthusiastic alumni, we also encourage you to reach out to your fellow Fresno High classmates. The more familiar faces we see, the more memorable and successful the evening will be!
